Liability Waiver *


I acknowledge that training for and/or participating in running or any other endurance sporting event is an extreme test of my physical and mental limits and that such training and/or participation poses potential risks of serious bodily injury, death, or property damage. I attest that I am in good health and my physical condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor.

Furthermore, in return for my participation in this program, I on behalf of myself and my heirs or executors I hereby:

a) WAIVE, RELEASE, and DISCHARGE Finish Strong Coaching, Dana Lyons, his officers, directors, administrators, employees, consultants, coaches and agents from any claims, costs or liabilities for personal injury, illness, death or damages of any kind which I may have now, or at any time in the future, resulting from participation in this or any other program;

b) AGREE NOT TO SUE any of the persons or entities mentioned above for any claims, costs or liabilities that I have waived, released or discharged herein;

c) INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, and HOLD HARMLESS, the persons or entities mentioned above from any claims made or liabilities assessed against them as a result of my actions.

The 15th Annual Youth Summer Run Camps for 6 to 16 year olds will be held during summer break at McCullough Jr High School. Finish Strong Coach Dana Lyons and his team of experienced coaches offer a program designed to help girls and boys improve their endurance, strength, speed and run technique. Whether your child’s goal is to get ready for cross-country, build endurance for fall sports or just get fit, this program can help.

The 9-week program begins on Monday, June 1 and runs through August 7th with one week off for the 4th of July holiday (June 29-July 4.) We will meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 8 am at McCullough Jr High School for 10 year olds and up and 7 to 7:45am for 6 to 9 year olds. Monday and Wednesday workouts will consist of longer, easy runs with focus on form and technique. Friday workouts will be structured, high intensity sessions to prepare the boys and girls for fall races.

Runners are grouped by ability. All abilities welcome. All participants receive a t-shirt and a weekly training plan. Cost is $150.
