Liability Waiver *


I acknowledge that training for and/or participating in running or any other endurance sporting event is an extreme test of my physical and mental limits and that such training and/or participation poses potential risks of serious bodily injury, death, or property damage. I attest that I am in good health and my physical condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor.

Furthermore, in return for my participation in this program, I on behalf of myself and my heirs or executors I hereby:

a) WAIVE, RELEASE, and DISCHARGE Finish Strong Coaching, Dana Lyons, his officers, directors, administrators, employees, consultants, coaches and agents from any claims, costs or liabilities for personal injury, illness, death or damages of any kind which I may have now, or at any time in the future, resulting from participation in this or any other program;

b) AGREE NOT TO SUE any of the persons or entities mentioned above for any claims, costs or liabilities that I have waived, released or discharged herein;

c) INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, and HOLD HARMLESS, the persons or entities mentioned above from any claims made or liabilities assessed against them as a result of my actions.

20-week plan leading up to The Woodlands Marathon and Half Marathon

Training Program Begins Monday, October 21st

Let Finish Strong Coaching help you get ready for The Woodlands Marathon and Half Marathon on March 7, 2020. This marathon is a Boston Qualifier finishing on the scenic Woodlands Waterway. Finish Strong Coaching will help you achieve your best race with expert coaching. Online registration is now open for this 20-week program. The program begins October 21 and is designed for runners who run regularly and do a weekly long run of an hour or more.

Let the experienced and expert coaches at Finish Strong Coaching guide you in setting and achieving marathon and half marathon goals while training in a fun, social group setting.

The ultimate goal is to get each runner to the starting line prepared, rested, and healthy to run a better, faster marathon or half marathon. Runners will be given a specific daily schedule designed for marathon and half marathon runners. Speed work sessions will be done as a group Tuesday evenings at 7 pm at McCullough Junior High track in The Woodlands. The plan is to build strength and endurance, gradually add some speed, then finish with marathon and half marathon specific speed work.
