Finish Strong Houston Marathon & Half Marathon Training Program
13-week plan leading up to Houston – Training Begins October 22nd
You can achieve your dream of crossing the finish line of the Houston Marathon or Half Marathon at your goal time on January 20, 2019. Finish Strong Coaching will help you do it! Take the first step by signing up for the Finish Strong Houston Marathon or Half Marathon program. You will get a training program with expert coaching to help you achieve your best race.
Online registration is now open for this 13-week program. The program begins October 22 and is designed for runners who run regularly and do a weekly long run of an hour or more.
Let the experienced and expert coaches at Finish Strong Coaching guide you in setting and achieving marathon goals while training in a fun, social group setting.
The ultimate goal is to get each runner to the starting line prepared, rested, and healthy to run a better, faster marathon or half marathon. Runners will be given a specific daily schedule designed for marathon and half marathon runners. Speed work sessions will be done as a group Tuesday evenings at 7 pm at McCullough Junior High track in The Woodlands. The plan is to build strength and endurance, gradually add some speed, then finish with marathon and half marathon specific speed work.
